Meet your host.

A message from Delia.

Unlike many Pilates instructors I have no formal dance background. I played sports growing up and daydreamed about being a gymnast. When I discovered Pilates back in 2000, the mat exercises were similar to a gymnastics warmup and I was hooked. It was like nothing I’d ever done before and I was amazed at the physical changes in my body. After a year of dedication and the encouragement by my instructor, I began my teaching journey.

I earned not one, but two certifications and numerous trainings over the last 22 years. I opened a successful brick-and-mortar business introducing boutique fitness programs to northwest Montana. The knowledge and teaching skills I gained inspired me to teach others to teach and also to marry my two biggest passions: Pilates and the outdoors.

I do Pilates so my body can take me places cars can’t go. It is wonderful for core strength, at rehabilitating injuries, keeping aches and pains at bay and staying supple and agile. However, it is more than that. It challenges not only your body, but also your mind and that’s where the magic happens. It takes every part of the mind to be aware of where you are in space, to breathe intentionally, and to be fully present. When we are mindful, we experience life as we live it, in the present moment.

For me, the outdoors decreases my stress and anxiety, and boosts my overall mental and physical wellbeing. Pilates encourages me to focus inward, executing each movement with a purpose, and accepting all that I’m capable of. I’m so excited to share the outdoor mindful experience with all of you. Get ready to relax, reconnect, and recharge in the mountains!
